Error message "ClassroomApiDisabled"
This article explains what to do if you see the "ClassroomApiDisabled" error when trying to connect Google Classroom to Flat for Education.
Error: "ClassroomApiDisabled"
🧐 What this error means?
This means a setting in your school or district's Google account is currently blocking Flat for Education.
Your Google Workspace administrator (the person who manages Google accounts) has this permission turned off.
Because this permission is off, Flat for Education can't "talk to" Google Classroom to get your student list or post assignments.
🛠 How to fix
This setting must be changed by your Google Workspace Admin; it cannot be fixed from your teacher account or by the Flat for Education team.
Please contact your admin and ask them to enable the Google Classroom API. Here is the official Google support article on how to do this: https://support.google.com/edu/classroom/answer/6250906?hl=en
The setting may take a few minute to apply. After that, teachers should be able to connect Flat for Education to Google Classroom.
