Re-adding Flat for Education (for students)
If your students encounter the error message "Please connect your Google Classroom assignment before starting this assignment", it means Google now requires re-authorization when students change passwords or when new students are added.
If reconnecting Google Classroom by clicking on "Connect Google Classroom", your students can resolve this issue by removing Flat for Education from their Google Account and re-adding it:
- Log out from Flat for Education.
- Go to myaccount.google.com.
- Click on the 'Security' tab on the left.
- Under 'Your connections to third-party apps & services,' select 'Flat.'
- Click 'Delete all connections you have with Flat.'
- Sign in again using Google on Flat for Education.
