Purpose

The dal segno marking indicates the player has to jump to the segno marking.

Add a dal segno marking

You can add the to dal segno marking by going to the "Measure" toolbar. Select the measure after which the performer has to jump to the segno. The al coda or al fine will automatically be added if there is a fine marking, or a coda secion.
